Families here have practiced natural lac harvesting from Kusum and Ber trees for generations, turning raw resin into radiant tribal bangles, boxes, and toys.

Living Heritage & Traditions

Tamar was the heartland of the historic Tamar Revolt led by tribal chieftains. The temple’s stone construction is devoid of modern cement, while the lac artisans maintain traditional charcoal furnace shaping techniques.
